During my recent visit to Toyama Japanese Steak House, I had a mixed dining experience. The highlight was definitely the sushi – we ordered the 'Pretty Woman', 'Rainbow', and 'Philadelphia' rolls. Each of these selections was quite good, offering a satisfying taste of what the restaurant's sushi menu has to offer.
However, the overall Japanese cuisine experience was average – not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. For appetizers, we tried the calamari and fried soft-shell crabs. The calamari was a pleasant surprise, cooked well with a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the fried soft-shell crabs were a different story. They were unappetizing to the point where we couldn't eat them. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, we were still charged the full price for this dish, which was a bit disheartening.
In conclusion, Toyama Japanese Steak House offers decent sushi options but has room for improvement in other areas of their menu and customer service, particularly in how they handle customer feedback on their dishes.
The Bento Box steak lunch was so much food and the steak was amazing tender. Lunch prices for the sushi were good too. Everything was wonderful including the wait staff. I have recommended Toyama to my family and friends. I’ve been back now and happy to have Toyama in my city.
